- Aengus (EN-gus). Clan Chief, Niall’s father, husband to Iseabail.
- Ailis (AH-luhs). Housekeeper.
- Conn (KAHN). Horsemaster.
- Daileass (DAH-liss). Young male servant.
- Eanruig (EN-rik). Niall’s cousin, son of Morven and Gabhran (Aengus’ brother).
- Eubha (AY-vuh). Kitchen helper, daughter of Sima.
- Gabhran ( GAV-run). Eanruig’s father, husband to Iseabail, Niall’s uncle.
- Hamish (HAY-mish). Orphan boy taken in by Sima; kitchen helper.

MacDhubhshithe (‘descendant of the dark fairy’). Modern Equivalent: MacFee, Macafie, MacPhee, MacFie.
- Diarmad (DYEER-muht). Brother to Saraid; uncle to Marsaili and Davina. Friend of Luthais.
- Saraid(SAH-rik). Marsaili and Davina’s birth mother. Hanged as a witch in 1086, the year the twins were born.
